Only a few days remain before the 2023 garden competition takes place in aid of BARB Search and rescue. Entries are still open up till Friday so if you want to be in with a chance of winning prizes get yourself signed up by contacting the park office.
A reminder, this years competition will encompass providing wildlife havens for insects, bees and small creatures. That may be as simple as planting insect loving plants or something more extravagant such as installing a small water feature for Amphibians and Birds. Furthermore, even if gardening isn’t your thing, we have created a new category this year for best poster. The poster aims to encourage the creation of information for the judges at BARB Search and Rescue about the wildlife and nature across the park and in the local area.
