Our favourite local restaurants and carvery’s to try over Easter

Visit Rich’s Cider Farm Restaurant where you will find locally produced, freshly cooked food, daily in their ‘open plan’ kitchen. A 10 minute drive from Retreat, here you can watch the cooks busy baking homemade cakes, desserts, pies and all of their daily roasts & specials. As supporters of local farmers and producers they aim to provide you with a ‘True Taste of Somerset’. One of our favourite go to carvery’s and perfect for an Easter Sunday lunch.

If a hearty Italian meal is of your fancy this Easter then La Vela Ristorante is your go to. Serving you the finest taste’s of Italy their caring and committed staff make sure you have a fantastic experience with them.

Finally, If a traditional country pub is what you are after there is no better place than The Red Cow at Brent Knoll. Just a 5 minute drive from Retreat they offer a wide selection of locally produced food and drink. The pub is warm and friendly, welcoming regulars and visitors from near and far. With a wide range of facilities, customers can enjoy the tranquility of their gardens and the comfort of a cosy pub atmosphere.
