Just over 3 weeks now until our annual garden competition in aid of BARB takes place and entries are now open. Retreat’s annual challenge, in partnership with The David Bellamy Blooming Marvelous Pledge, has adopted the theme ‘Home Sweet Home’ for this year. Aligning with this concept, the garden competition aims to promote the establishment of a Retreat Hotel for bees and insects. This can range from creating a simple stack of twigs in your pitch to a more elaborate Wooden Insect & Bee House.
Alongside the garden competition, don’t hesitate to include the ‘Celebration of Sport’ category to commemorate the Summer of Sport, featuring events like the Olympics, Euro 2024, and T20 Cricket World Cup.
