Re-opening of the Jubilee Building
We are pleased to announce in line with step 3 of lockdown lifting, the Laundry Room, Toilet Blocks and Information Room will be able to re-open from Monday 17th May 2021 with appropriate measures in place.
The Laundry Room will be operating under a 1 household in 1 household out policy due to the limited indoor space and please use your own washing baskets.
Each toilet room (Male, Female, Disabled and Shower Block) will be under a 1 household at a time policy to limit crossing over of household bubbles. The same will also apply with the information room.
All indoor settings will be cleaned daily with hand sanitiser provided alongside surface sanitiser and paper towels.
For all indoor settings a face covering must be worn.
Garden Competition
Following a years absence we are pleased to say we will be running the garden competition once again the week commencing 19th July. The theme for this years competition will be Best of British, over the last year we have seen the country rally together around the NHS, Key Workers, Sir Captain Tom Moore, the passing of the Duke of Edinburgh and the rollout of the Vaccine Programme.
We would like to see a little something in your garden that represents Britain. This may be something small like an English Rose or something more grand such as a Garden Gnome design.
The Category Prizes are as follows.
- Best Overall Garden
- Best Newcomer Garden
- ‘Best of British’ Garden

Retreat Advert
Once again this year we will be filming a video to go out on the website and our social media platforms. The video aims to show the sites and attractions around the site as well as on it.
